Dr. Mehmet Cilingiroglu, an Arkansas based internist specializing in cardiology, has developed an optical tomography device that can identify signs of heart attacks before they occur.

“We can learn in advance about a potential cardiac arrest with the help of intravenous imaging.”

Volcano Corporation, developer and manufacturer of endovascular devices, has invested $25 million to purchase the patent rights and bring the product to the market sometime in the next two years.

According to Vitals.com, Mehmet Cilingiroglu, had finished medical school in Turkey, and completed his residency at Virginia Commonwealth University and fellowship in Baylor College of Medicine in Texas.

Dr. Conrad Murray could have used one of these optical tomography devices to know of the impending cardiac arrest of Michael Jackson.
