Dr. Jennifer Arnold
Star of the TLC hit The Little Couple, Dr. Jennifer Arnold has been in the headlines and hearts of fans since she revealed a few weeks ago that she is battling a rare form of cancer. Dr. Arnold just started her young family with her husband Bill earlier this year. They adopted Will, 3, from China at the beginning of 2013, and were picking up Zoe, 2, in India, when Dr. Arnold started to bleed. The neonatologist left her husband to finish up adoption paperwork and flew home. She was diagnosed with stage 3 choriocarcinoma, a uterine cancer, and is undergoing surgery and chemotherapy. According to Dr. Arnold, her prognosis is good. Dr. Arnold has a 4.0 rating on Vitals.
Dr. Shiriam Nene
Married to popular Bollywood actress, Madhuri Dixit, since 1999, this Denver based thoracic surgeon recently relocated back to Mumbai with his wife and two kids. Dr. Nene has an overall patient rating of 3.0.
A medical examiner that performed Trayvon Martin’s autopsy and offered conflicting testimony at George Zimmerman’s murder trial, Shiping Bao was relived of his post in August. During Zimmerman’s trial, Bao changed his opinion about how long Martin lived after being shot. Bao initially estimated Martin lived one a minute or two after Zimmerman shot him. Later, he testified that the teen lived up to 10 minutes.
Bao claimed that his opinion changed based on a case that similar to Martin’s and he is suing the state for wrongful termination. Dr. Bao has a patient rating of 2.0 on Vitals.

Dr. Farid Fata
Dr. Farid Fata has been jailed since the summer of 2013 for intentionally misdiagnosing patients and ordering unnecessary treatments. The Lebanese-born doctor who practiced in the Greater Detroit area allegedly told patients they had cancer and exposed them to powerful chemotherapy treatments. He is charged with committing fraud to enrich himself through health insurane programs.
Dr. Fata has been ordered to remain in jail until his trial in February. Prosecutors have labeled him as a flight risk and say he might flee to the Middle East. On Vitals, Dr. Fata had a patient rating of 2.5.
Dr. Chauncey Crandall
Dr. Chauncey Crandall is Chief of the Cardiac Transplant Program at the world-renowned Palm Beach Cardiovascular Clinic in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. and practices interventional, vascular, and transplant cardiology. He is often referred to as the “Christian physician” because of his belief in the power of prayer to heal. His own spiritual conviction came when he used the power of prayer in tandem with modern medicine for his 10-year-old son who was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. He wrote about the journey for a cure in the book Raising the Dead. Dr. Chauncey has a patient rating of 3.5.
Dr. David Brownstein
Dr. David Brownstein is a family physician who is a holistic medicine practitioner. He has authored over 11 books along with DVDs on healthy eating and living. Brownstein is at the center of the iodine debate. He believes that iodine deficiency is an epidemic in America and is responsible for weight gain, disease and even cancers. He also rails against eating processed salts and sugars. He has a 3.0 rating from patients on Vitals.
