Real Madrid striker, Gonzalo Higuain has been sitting out with a herniated disc since this past November. It has been decided that he will undergo a spine operation.
Dr. Richard Fessler, is scheduled to perform the operation next Tuesday in Chicago. According to Vitals.com, Dr. Richard Fessler is a board-certified Neurological Surgereon with special expertise in Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery. He has also been awarded as a Patients’ Choice physician as well as a Compassionate Doctor.
It is not known how long Higuain will be absent for but Madrid coach Jose Mourinho admitted he does not expect to have the Argentina international available again until near the end of the season. (foxsports.com)
