Phaedra Parks and husband Apollo Nida, stars of Real Housewives of Atlanta are the proud parents of a new baby boy. We will see Phaedra and her baby in upcoming episodes of the Real Housewives. Her family friend, Dr. John Lue of Augusta delivered her baby earlier today at the Medical College of Georgia.

According to Vitals.com, Dr. John Lue received his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine and specializes in laparoscopic surgery and bloodless medicine.

Dr. John Lue is known to advise pregnant  women not to overeat or lazy their way through pregnancy. He strongly suggests the following:

“Well, you know, when you get ready to have this baby, you’re gonna be pushing and you’re not gonna be in the shape to push as well as you can. … Realize you’ve got a marathon to run. If you think of your delivery as a marathon, you’re going to get in shape for that marathon. You’re going to do your exercises. … So that you can do what you have to do when it’s time to push. You can have the stamina and the strength to push.”
