According to the Washington Post, rookie pitcher Stephen Strasburg will undergo Tommy John surgery Friday. The operation will be performed by Dr. Lewis Yocum with Nationals team doctor Wiemi Douoguih assisting. The top pick in the 2009 amateur draft has gone through two arthrograms, both revealing a significant tear in the ulnar collateral ligament.
