Dr. Anthony Youn, Michigan’s Plastic Surgeon and a Patients’ Choice physician, reveals all telltale signs and traces of plastic surgery. Everyone denies it, but now you will know the truth and will be able to read them like an open book.
Ear Scars & Pulls
You can’t get a face lift without leaving a scar in front of each ear. A telling sign is the transition from the smooth, light-colored skin of the ear to the weathered skin on the cheeks. Occasionally these scars thicken.
Also, when a surgeon pulls skin too tight, the earlobes may start to droop over time, giving them an elongated look. Almost looking like an extra in the movie “Avatar.” Typically, additional surgery will be necessary. (cbsnews)
If performed incorrectly, injections to the forehead distort the eyebrows, giving a “sinister look.” This can be corrected by a few more injections above the eyebrows, or waiting out a few months as Botox is not permanent.
Surprised? all the time? and over 60?
Virtually all seniors have some loose, saggy, upper eyelid skin, says Dr. Youn. So, if she’s a grandma and her eyes are shut wide open, chances are she’s had a voluntary encounter with a scalpel.
Botox can be injected into the bridge of the nose to get rid of creases, but some people who have this type of injection get rabbit-like creases on the sides of their noses when they laugh and smile.
If this sounds like one of your intimates, tell her she can get more Botox on the sides of her nose, or just wait for the Botox to wear off, says Dr. Youn.
When an upper lip is bigger than the lower one, it’s just not natural. In nature, says Dr. Youn, the lower lip is usually 50 percent larger than the upper one. So any variation is likely the result of silicone injections.
It’s easy to spot: The faces of women who have been injected with too much filler look like shiny oven-stuffer roasters.
It should wear off in a few months if she used fillers alone. If she had fat injections, she’ll have to have the excess sucked out via liposuction, says Dr. Youn.
According to Vitals.com, Dr. Anthony Youn, has a perfect overall patient rating recognizing him as a Patients’ Choice physician. He specializes in Abdominoplasty, BOTOX, Brachioplasty, Mammaplasty and Blepharoplasty.
