Dr. Dave David

It’s officially beach season, and with that comes anxiety to get the best beach body that you can get.

But not everyone has the time for a weekly routine workout or the money for expensive surgery.

Dr. Dave David, a Patients’ Choice cosmetic surgeon in Massachusetts suggests a less invasive procedure that will not break the bank with minimal recovery time and natural appearing results. What could be better than ‘easy, safe, inexpensive, and effective cosmetic procedures?’

VASER liposuction is an ultrasound liposuction procedure designed to remove body fat without requiring general anesthesia.

The procedure helps remove unwanted body fat from the hips, thighs, stomach, buttocks and waist. It is considered to be a ‘next generation’ procedure in body contouring, using ultrasonic energy to break up fatty deposits and easily remove the fat cells. Some doctors also report that this procedure helps tighten and tone the skin naturally, creating a more sculpted, contoured appearance. This type of liposuction procedure also promises minimal downtime. (cosmeticsurgerytoday)

I had two procedures done by Dr. Dave David. I had liposuction done on my chin which came out good .I also had a second procedure done on my chest, vasor liposuction. This was a totally different story, it was very, very, very painful it felt like I was getting stabbed over and over and over again. Dr. Dave assured me the procedure would be almost painless, far from it. The pain was so excruciating, ,after the procedure was done I passed out from the pain I also had extensive bleeding from my chest and had to go to the hospital in an ambulance .The hospital called in a plastic surgeon he couldn't believe how black and blue my chest was, he took pictures of my chest. It took a long time for my body to heal, I couldn't believe how black and blue my chest was, it look like I was hit by a baseball bat about 30 times, my upper abdominal was also black and blue .I now know to have my surgeries done at a surgical center or hospital. I have now seen 2 plastic surgeons
who have both told me that I need to get more liposuction and glandular breast tissue moved. This is something that I spoke with Dr. Dave before the operation he assured me that I didn't need any glandular breast tissue removed (you can not use vasor liposuction to remove glandular breast tissue). Dr. Dave’s assistant Debbie also showed me pictures of what my chest should look like after the procedure. My chest does not look anything like the picture that showed me at the doctor office. I have two pockets of fat on the lower part of both sides of my chest looks very bad, not what I paid for. One of the plastic surgeons asked me where I had my liposuction done. I told him it was Dr. Dave, he did not say anything negative, but he said he has worked on four or five patients of Dr. Dave's, the nurse also told me the same thing. Right now I do not have the money to spend to have a plastic surgeon to fix my chest. I'm hoping that Dr. Dave will refund my
money, so I can get the surgery I need. If anybody would like to talk to me, feel free to contact me, I am not a company competing with Dr. Dave. I am a real person who went through a nightmare.

Hi Kevin, I had Vaser done by Dr. David about 5 weeks ago ( flanks , upper and lower stomach ). At first it looked great and then I went through a bloating stage and seems to have finally started to calm down. The results are looking pretty good and I had some initial pain , didn't seem to be overly painful for the type of probing that is done on my body. The only thing I can say that I didn't like was I think the bloating part of the surgery should have been explained better, from what i've read since it seems to take very commonly around 2 months to start seeing good results.

    Hope you turn out well

  12. Bob says:

You sound like a real baby and a whiner.
I've had VASER done by Dr. David; so has my wife and 2 of my wife's friends.
There was some discomfort, but none of us felt it to be bad at all.
I don't know who you are, but judging by your description of the story you tell, you sound like a pretty dramatic guy and I'm sure you're greatly exaggerating or confabulating your story.
Everybody I know who's a patient of Dr. David, loves him and would stand by him completely.

  13. Kfr64 says:

Thanks for the concern, I had liposuction about a year ago, I have now seen to plastic surgeons they have both told me that my chest can not be fixed with liposuction. They told me that the fat was too coarse to be removed by liposuction.
I now have to have surgery to fix my chest to thank you for the concern

  14. Kevin says:

Bob Im glad your procedure came out good. Dr. Dave was the one who called the ambulance,i didnt want to go. The bleeding was so bad Dr. Dave had to suck the blood out with the same instrument that used to suck the fat out. I had to spend the night at the hospital, by doctors orders because of the bleeding, and my blood pressure had dropped very very low,. Bob if you do your research you will find out when you get liposuction on your chest fat can be very course, and that is why it was so painful for me it felt like I was getting stamped over and over and over again. I found this out too late, I have spoken with two plastic surgeons ,both told me that you are better off going under anesthesia when you get your chest because on the pain. They both told me that liposuction can not get the coarse fat out, it has to be done by surgery. So Bob is the one we meet for drinks some where let me know I can show you the medical records the picture of my chest. But I also think you're out of line calling me a whiner baby and a liar saying I fabricated the story. Just because your procedure came out good does it mean mine did. So bob just give me a time and place we can meet up i will buy you coffe.Other wise dont call me a Lair or a whinner baby.Im glad think work out for you and wife and her 2 friends. One other thing Bob I had 7 inches of my colon removed so I know what pain is, and believe me I can take pain. I boxed for two years, I wrestled for 7 and been in judo for 5 years so I can take it .So Bod its a true trury story 100%

  15. Mike says:

Kevin, who would you recommend for lipo?

  16. Kevin says:

This post was obviously written by Dr. David. He floods all of the review boards with good reviews of himself. This doctor is known in ALL of the local medical world at putting peoples’ lives in danger with his hack jobs. I know someone that worked with him at Sleek Med Spa in the Natick Mall and someone had a heart attack on the table while he was performing lipo and he had to call an ambulance because he DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO! Please avoid this man. I wish he would stop practicing lipo and stop putting people in danger. I don’t understand why he is so insistent on performing liposuction when he knows that he doesn’t have the talent for it.

I DID ASK BOTH DR.DAVID AND DEBBIE ABOUT GETTING A FULL TUMMY TUCK AND THEY BOTH SAID THIS WOULD DO GOOD FOR ME AND DIDN’T AT ALL. I AM NOT SURE WHAT IT HURT SO BAD I HAVEN’T EVEN GONE NEAR THEM SINCE THE PROCEDURE I WANT TO YELL AT THEM. I AM SPEECHLESS

  19. Bob says:

That surprises me. My experience was much better as far as pain. I felt some pain in some parts, but overall it wasn’t bad at all. from my research it seems that the anesthetic solution and instruments used are pretty standard from one doctor to the next, but that’s too bad that it was painful for you. I also noticed lumpiness in the first couple of months, but then it went away and looked great. I researched it ahead of time. I think the lumpiness is pretty standard from what I read, too. I think it’s all part of the healing. I think it can take a few months for it to smooth out. Others who I know who went through it also experienced that and it was always temporary. Good luck. I happen to think he’s a very good doctor. I’m sorry your experience was different.

Who do you know who used to work at Sleek? I ask this because I worked there for the entire time that Dr. David was there and there was never a patient who had a “heart attack”?? If so, it would’ve been in all the newspapers and everything!
That’s such BS. Tell your friend to write me. Sleek is always trying to trash Dr. David because he left there because of their unscrupulous business practices. The time that he was there was the only time that I felt proud to be part of their staff and he made their reputation better for the short time that he helped us out there. The patients loved him there…..so get your facts straight, honey and either stop making up lies or you better check out your sources, because I REALLY DID work there!

  22. KR says:

First and foremost I was the one who left sleek in ambulance after vasor liposuction . I had vasor liposuction which was very, very, very painful it felt like I was getting stabbed over and over again. I was in the waiting room, when I passed out about 15 min. after the procedure, my body kind of went into shock from all the pain and I was also bleeding quite profusely from my chest caused by the vasor liposuction , Dr. Dave had to put me on a table and start sucking the blood out of my chest with the same tool that he used to suck out the fat can you imagine feeling somebody suck the blood of your chest with a metal rod pushing it in and out of your chest, I’m sure the bleeding had something to do with me passing out too. At the hospital they told me it wasn’t a heart attack so the girl from sleek was misinformed, but my blood pressure had dropped very low and the doctors were a little nervous and I had to stay the night, to be honest you every time I got up I felt sick , my heart started racing and felted shaky, so the best thing was to stay overnight, it took almost a week for me to feel semi-normal. I don’t know what Dr. Dave’s reputation is in the medical field , but one of the plastic surgeon I went to told me, he has seen 4 or 5 of his patients, the nurse told me the same thing. All I can say is do your homework and make sure you find the right Dr. for you, I recommend plastic surgeons not cosmetic surgeons there is a big difference. I personally feel the doctor misled me about the pain and how my chest would look afterwards.

Good story about Dr. Dave David. Your story makes me more curious. I surely personally visit them. Hope they will help a lot.

  24. EB says:

I also had lipo with Dr Dave on my stomach it has now been almost 2 years and the lumps are still there. I also look like I have a donut sticking out of my belly button. It looks so aweful. My stomach is also very uneven I look totally deformed. One side the skin is tight the other is loose. Im so angry I wasted all that money on this. He is terrible I would never recommend him to anyone. Stay away from Dr David

  25. EB says:

Dr David is terrible dont go to him. I am deformed looking because of him!

  26. Maureen says:

Do not go to this Doctor. Find a certified plastic surgeon. I had Vaser lipo and the procedure was very painful and the results were terrible. The recovery took 2 weeks and everytime I stood up I felt severe pain. After all the pain and money, I saw very little result. NOT RECOMMENDED!!
