MEDICAL BACKGROUND INFORMATION on DR. JOSE BOLANOS

The Medical Board of California revoked the medical license of Los Gatos Dr. Jose Raul Bolanos, an OB/GYN who was convicted of sexually molesting a patient.
“The mission of the Medical Board is public protection, and this action reflects the board’s ongoing commitment to that mission,” said Linda Whitney, interim executive director of the board.
On Sept. 26, 2008, Bolanos was arrested by Los Gatos-Monte Sereno police and charged with sexual battery after a patient at the Los Gatos clinic accused him of sexually assaulting her.
While the case was in court, a judge required Dr. Bolanos to be in the presence of a chaperon whenever he was with a female patient.
In August, a San Jose jury convicted him of misdemeanor sexual battery. During the trial, at least six other patients testified against him.
Bolanos lost his right to practice on Monday.

I followed Dr. Jose Raul Bolanos's case since I first heard about it on the radio. I always considered Dr. Bolanos a great professional and I didn't want to believe the accusations could be true.
It is about time I remember this guy, he announced he was ” still single” when he came into room. He is real peice of work. Good luck Jose.
I was his patient many years ago. One of the best doctors I’ve ever met. I am a physician myself from the Ukraine. There are so many arrogant doctors in this country. Who ignored my symptoms and were sending me back home with a note “to take a rest and get a vacation”. If not for him,I still would be kicked from one arrogant moron to another. The condition I had required surgical treatment… I’ve been his patient for many years… After we moved to another state I was working with MDs in OR. And stories I’ve heard from them! Patients file law suits just to get some settlement. Just because they need money. And they openly admit it that to their physicians, after getting settlement….I do not believe to any accusation against Bolanos. Anybody can sue. For different reasons. And many people,in this case-6, so-called witnesses, would not think twice before coming out with a false accusation just to get publicity. If he told to a patient that hi is “still single”. So what? Hi was working 24/7. Single father. Patients sooo happy to tell during appointment everything about there problems in life. Ad forget that physicians are humans too. I remember hi was telling me and my husband hi was single. And wished to meet a woman. TO GET MARRIED. I feel sorry for him. And his children who went through this horror. And still live in nightmare.
Well that is your opionin and I respect that but he did my first surgery when he was in his internship and he was a very young and he was the same way back then and on a number of occasions he insulted me about my weight and they were insults. He is getting back what he put out and for some reason I find it hard to beleive that all of these women are lying to get attention or get money. He always struck me funny like something wasn’t right about this guy.
So I still stand by my first comments. And if his family is going through the fall out of his mistakes then they have no one to blame but him, and I do feel sorry for them could you amagine having a father that did something like this that would be terrible.
The most painful subject in this country-weight.My first was impression-freak show. And God forbid to say to anybody truth about that.
I have had Dr.Bolanos for 14 years he was a very nice doctor he also delivered my daughter which she is now 13..I always look forward to having my next child and have Dr.Bolanos deliver the baby….I think people just don’t know what else to do but accuse doctors …..I actually live 1 hour in half away and I would always travel to go for any appt needed he is really the best OBGYN …..i REALLY WISH HIM THE BEST SORRY TO HEAR THIS …….DR.BOLANOS IS #1. You know he may be a doctor but he is a big flirt, but the fact is this just wasn’t one patient it was several. But there is something about him that always seemed a little off. When I had my surgery he hadn’t given me my hormones and I understand no one is perfect so the nurse had him paged and he said this to me. Don’t ever have me paged in the hospital mind you the nurse had him paged because I was having major problems with no hormones in my body. And when I got home I was experiencing a lot of pain in my lower abdomen regarding air trapped in there which is normal and I called his office and had him paged again and he called and said to me ” I am on a bike ride and didn’t have time to talk to me. Nice guy. So I think he crossed the line. I have never had a doctor come into the room and say I am still single very unprofessional. I use to think he was a good doctor too, but it didn’t surprise me to hear about this. They must have had some pretty good evidence to take his medical license away. Big price to pay.
And as far as the comment about my weight I can deal with that but he was a fat little guy himself what a hypocrite. I was a knot out back then and not that over weight. But I don’t know why I am telling you this. I knew him before you did back in the early eighties before you were a itch in your daddys pants, I know what I am taking about. So take you fan club somewhere else and tell you story to the women who are going through the hell he bestowed on them.

LOL, sounds like you are the one that has anger issues I feel just fine just stating the facts hon. So like I said I was his patient in the 80′s you weren’t. Oh an by the way I think that it is funny that you stopped receiving my comments after you started you little rant what a coward. And you are a doctor. You sound more like high school. Just because you have a degree doesn’t mean you are a educated person, maybe in the medical field but as far as maturity, questionable????
