How dare those Ophthalmologists ask Senator Barney Frank a few questions about his health care policy on a plane and disturb his watching. In Barney’s own words:
“They wanted to talk to me, but I apologized and said I like to read and watch on planes.”
Perhaps he finally had the time to read the health care bill and didn’t want to be disturbed. Frank’s male partner got annoyed and shouted out “If you’re trying to be bitchy, you’re doing a good job” and a good shouting match followed.
Shortly after wards, Franks partner again called another passenger Santa Claus and another fuss broke out.
Eventually, the doctors gave up after Barney kept stonewalling them and allowing his partner to chime in. Barney wasn’t apologetic for his partners action in follow-up interviews.
