As reported by News4Jax.com, their local Jacksonville physician, Dr. Jesus A. Diaz is being accused of illegally obtaining prescription medication.
In a statement, Mayo Clinic said: “We are aware of the charges filed against Jesus Diaz, M.D. He is no longer employed by Mayo Clinic. We have provided information to the authorities as requested. This situation did not involve any patient care activities. Additional information would need to come from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.”
According to a comprehensive doctor source, Vitals.com, Dr. Jesus Diaz is an Internist with a Pulmonary Disease sub-specialty. He completed his fellowship at a top ranked university, Baylor College of Medicine and was an assistant professor at Mayo Medical School.
