Angela Bassett has been selected to join the new cast of the Green Lantern in the role of Dr. Amanda Waller. Remake from the classic comic book will include major players such as Ryan Reynolds as the main superhero, Blake Lively, Tim Robbins and Peter Sarsgaard, among others.
The remake will be directed by Martin Campbell who also directed Casino Royale, will be out in theater summer of 2011.
